A Dundas Castle Wedding

DUNDAS CASTLE // JULY 2023

Dundas Castle in South Queensferry, Scotland, is a historic luxury hotel surrounded by stunning scenery. The 15th-century fortress offers a fairy tale-like experience with ancient towers, beautiful gardens, and a peaceful lake. Each room combines traditional charm with modern comforts. Before we headed to Dundas Castle though, I joined Catriona as she was getting ready in her childhood home with her bridesmaids.

We had lovely tones of blush for the bridesmaids and wildflower themed bouquets. There were also some beautiful floral details added on the the bodice of Catriona’s dress. She looked beautiful. I then headed to the local church to meet Jonathan and the boys.

Catriona arrived in a vintage car with her Mum who was delighted to walk her down the aisle.

Catriona and Jonathan tied the knot in this beautiful local church that is very special to Catriona’s family. Afterwards guests gathered outside to throw confetti.

We then travelled to the stunning Dundas Castle where the bride and groom get special access to the roof and can take in the views of the Forth.

Guests gathered in the foyer as the bride and groom made a spectacular entrance down the grand staircase to cut their cake.

We headed to the front of the castle for group photos and then used the gorgeous castle grounds for photos. The flowers were in full bloom and matched perfect with the wedding theme.

Guests then headed over to the marquee for dinner and speeches we had a few moments in the house whilst it was empty.

After dinner Catriona & Jonathan had a shot of the super cool pinball machine…we had to wrestle it off the kids and then it was time for dancing. Everyone got up to join in with some really fun ceilidh dances. Lunging was needed for some of the dance moves!

Such a fun day, thanks for having me at your Dundas Castle Wedding.
