A Dunglass Wedding

DUNGLASS ESTATE // NOV 2021

Well well, this is definitely a wedding I won’t forget in a hurry. The night before was storm Arwen - windy as hell, I thought the worst of it had past the night before but I didn’t actually think of the aftermath. Luckily Tony shifted me to leave an hour earlier than planned and thank god I did! I was held up for about 35-40 mins as the road was closed. Eventually when I spoke to the nice policeman and explained the situation he let me go down - I thought I was well on my way then there was a fallen tree. I tried another route and there was another fallen tree. Eventually I managed to find a clear road but it took me a whole extra hour - I was still on time!

When I arrived, Kirsty was as calm as anything! Enjoying her morning and really not stressing much about the weather. She had the ceremony moved indoors (good call) it was still pretty windy and freezing! I

I found Alan and the boys in another house.

Kirsty looked absolutely stunning in her choice of dress. So elegant. Her Mum and Dad looks so proud.

Alan waited eagerly for his beautiful bride to walk down the aisle. Inside it was calm and peaceful as they got married, whilst a storm still raged on outside.

The courtyard brought a little shelter so I pulled everyone out for a quick round of photos.

Once we heated up a little, I took the bride and groom a walk up to the church where they were supposed to get married. I cant express how windy and cold it was but they hung on for me to do the photos and Im so grateful.

Absolutely loved the decor and style, Dunglass always do a great job of making your wedding look stunning!

We all got cosy inside and sat down to listen to some speeches.

One last adventure outside before we moved on to cake cutting and first dance.

I love the dancefloor, so nice! A gorgeous way to start your evening entertainment.

I left these guys to party the night away. Thanks so much for having me there and remember I will to anything to get to a wedding, even in crazy storms!
