Lucy & James chose to get married in October which is bang in Autumn for Scotland. There was a little chill in thee air but we had a dry day with the sun periodically joining us. I joined Lucy as she got ready at one of the houses on the estate.

James got ready nearer the beautiful abandoned church where they were having the ceremony. I loved their music themed decor something these two are passionate about.

Lucy’s gown was stunning with puffy sleeves and embroidered floral details. I loved the ponytail hair the whole thing just worked perfectly.

The girls made their way to the church where James and guests were waiting. Lucy was piped down the aisle and her proud Mum walked with her.

At various points in the ceremony the sun beamed into the church. The whole scene was just magical.

Guests threw confetti as they exited the church. It was a breezy day so the confetti went everywhere! It was so colourful. Guests made their way back to the venue for drinks and the bridal party stayed for a few photos.

I then took the couple for a bit of a walk round the church and back towards the guests as we captured photos on the way.

Lucy & James got a chance to speak to everyone before dinner. The setup was just gorgeous!

As guests were being seated I took the couple over to a wooded area just before it started to get dark. When we came back we done a fun champagne spray with the bridal party!

We listened to some funny stories during the speeches.

After dinner Lucy & James organised for some amazing coffee to be served in the courtyard and then we took some fun flash photography.

Finally it was time to cut the cake and get the party started! Being big music people Lucy & James had the best time on the dance floor and once the guests joined in it was wild! Such a great party vibe from them all.

Thanks so Lucy & James for having me as their photographer - it was a fabulous Wedding at Dunglass Estate!
