A Wedding at House for an Art Lover

HOUSE FOR AN ART LOVER GLASGOW // MAY 2022

It was a gorgeous spring day and time for the wedding of Stephen and Jennifer. They plan to get married at St. Bridget’s Church in Baillieston for heading to the stunning House for an Art Lover for their reception. I joined Jennifer at her house as she was getting ready with her Mum and bridesmaids.

I loved Jennifers glam look with a rep lip. Her Dad looks so proud when he saw her for the first time.

Stephen was waiting anxiously for his bride. I think the boys were in such a rush they forgot their buttonholes! Never mind though, someone picked them up after the ceremony. These little mishaps happen at every wedding but most people just don’t notice. It’s an easy fix.

After the service we took a few photos in the church before heading to House for an Art Lover. We were the first to arrive so whilst we waited on the guests we ducked into the gorgeous walled garden (yes it is worth the donation!) for photos. May was just a stunning time of year to be in there, so many lush greens and florals.

We mingled with guests and then took everyone outside for confetti shot and group photos.

Also a couple of photos using the architecture of the building inside and out. Such a gorgeous place!

Speeches and dinner are served upstairs and then we headed down to the evening reception where the couple had some awesome retro video games set up!

The happy couple cut their cake and continued on with their first dance. I left them to party the rest of the night away without cameras. It was an absolute pleasure to be their photographer, thanks for having me!
