Glenskirlie Castle Wedding

GLENSKIRLIE CASTLE WEDDING // OCT 2021

It was a drizzley morning as I headed down to East Kilbride to meet Lauren at her parents house. We didn’t let that dampen our spirits though as all the girls were excited and enjoying getting ready for the day ahead.

I was pretty obsessed with Laurens style and her dress! I just felt like it was made for her! Super stunning.

I loved the families reaction as she made an entrance into the kitchen. We then took a few photos in the garden before I headed off to Glenskirlie Castle to meet the boys.

Shaun and his merry men scrubbed up will. Shaun being more excited than anything about the arrival of his soon to be bride.

Lauren arrived oozing of elegance and ready to walk down the aisle. They opted for a humanist ceremony performed by the very funny and talented David Smith. Laurens mum spent weeks making pompoms so as the couple headed up the aisle everyone threw them up in the air!

As the rain was heavy group photos were indoor but I loved the wee library in reception - an ideal place.

As the rain eased off I took the couple out to the wee garden at the back. We hid under trees to keep dry and the photos looked gorgeous. I also walked them over to another spot where I could hide them under the trees so we could make the best of being outside.

Guests mingled as the room was getting set up for dinner. I loved the stylish choices made for the table decor.

Lauren & Shaun were traditionally piped in to cut their cake. They then sat for the funniest speeches!

After dinner the rain had finally stopped! Lauren had organised some sparklers so we took some of the guests outside for some fun!

Lauren and Shaun had their first dance and then the whole dance floor erupted into a big party! Thanks so much for having me guys, it was loads of fun!
